Product Info

Visit the Batik Pha Daeng community, a creative collective formed by local fishing families from Ban Pha Daeng. Learn how the village’s identity is shaped by the sea and the iconic red cliff that once guided fishermen home.

During the visit, you’ll gain insight into the batik-making process and see how everyday life, marine creatures, and nature are transformed into meaningful textile designs, preserving local heritage through handcrafted art.

Choose a 3-hour experience, which includes creating one DIY batik kerchief, or a 5-hour experience, featuring one DIY batik shawl handcrafted by you as a personalized souvenir.

Here, you'll dive into the traditional art of batik-making to learn about the traditional art of batik, which uses wax to create patterns on cloth, then learn the coloring process of the batik

Please note that the batik-making workshop is conducted in an open-air space without air conditioning, reflecting the traditional working environment of local artisans and allowing you to enjoy a more traditional and authentic atmosphere.
