Product Info

Visit the most famous and popular of all the attractions in Crete, the Palace of Knossos. Enjoy a guided tour of the historical site that covers an area of 22.000m2 on 5 floors with 1.300 rooms; hear all about the legendary labyrinth and the Minotaur (the half-human monster). This day brings history and legend back to life and is a must see on any visit to Crete.

Our tour continues with a visit to Heraklion's Archaeological Museum which is one of the oldest and most remarkable museums in Greece, and among the most important museums in Europe.

The Heraklion Archaeological Museum prides itself for its unique Minoan collection, which includes the masterpieces of Minoan art. It is rightly considered as the Museum of Minoan Culture par excellence.

A guided city tour follows in the historical center of Heraklion city. The narrow, steep streets of the Old Town will bring you back in the centuries of Venetian and Ottoman rule.
