Product Info

A unique circular route that invites us to discover the authentic heart of Tinos, passing through three historic Catholic villages in the hinterland.

The experience begins in Loutra, where we have the opportunity to visit the impressive Museum of the Ursuline Convent, a place of great folklore and historical interest. Founded in 1862 as a monastery of the Ursuline order, it later developed into one of the most important girls' schools in Europe. The rooms and exhibits remain almost untouched, offering the visitor a unique journey through time (the museum is open during the summer months).

Then, the path ascends to the picturesque Koumaros, a small village with authentic Cycladic beauty and a peaceful atmosphere. From there, our route leads us to the imposing Exomvourgo, the third highest mountain on Tinos. At its top, the ruins of the Venetian castle dominate, while the panoramic view that stretches out before us makes up for every step of the climb.

The route continues downhill towards Xynara, a settlement of profound historical significance, as it has been the seat of the Catholic Archdiocese from the time of the Venetian rule to the present day.

Completing the loop, we return to Loutra, having experienced a hike full of images, history, and authentic experiences of Tinos.
