Visit the amazing site of Delphi the most famous sight of ancient Greece which located in a breathtaking landscape spreading out at the foot Mt. Parnassus. Explore this historic archaeological site with ruins dating back to the 4th century B.C. Start with the sanctuaries of Apollo and Athena Pronaia before heading to the ancient theater, featuring 35 rows and space for up to 5000 spectators which was built in the 4th century B.C. and was destroyed by Emperor Theodosius I in 390 A.D.
At Delphi, you’ll have the opportunity to visit the museum of Delphi.
In the Museum you will admire unique treasures, including the unique bronze statue of the Charioteer dedicated to Apollo , the Naxian Sphinx and the Statue of Antinoos and many other masterpieces of classical Greek art.
As we drive to Delphi through the beautiful Greek countryside, we will pass through the towns of Thebes, Levadia, Arachova and you will visit Thermopylae. You will see the Battlefield view from above, the Ancient hot gates, the Leonidas and 300 Spartans' monument. See Kolonos Hill is the place where the last Spartans died protecting the dead body of King Leonidas
