Product Info

Step into the world of Claude Monet on half day trip from Paris. Explore his iconic house and gardens in Giverny, including the lily pond, the Japanese bridge, and the flower paths that inspired his masterpieces. Stroll through the quiet village, visit Monet’s church and grave, and uncover local secrets.

Continue to Vernon to see the famous Old Mill on the Seine, painted by Monet, and the medieval Donjon Tower built by King Philip II. Enjoy a perfect blend of art, nature, history and Normandy charm.

Begin your day at Giverny, where Monet lived for over 40 years. Explore the legendary water lily pond, the Japanese bridge, and the vibrant flower gardens laid out exactly as Monet designed them. Step inside his home to see the artist’s studio, dining room, kitchen, and his collection of Japanese prints.

Continue with a gentle walk through the village of Giverny: narrow lanes, stone houses, small ateliers, and the peaceful Eglise Sainte-Radegonde, where Monet is buried alongside his family. Your guide shares intimate stories of Monet’s life, struggles, passions, and artistic breakthroughs.

After Giverny, travel a few minutes to Vernon, a charming town by the Seine. See the picturesque Old Mill, perched above the river — one of the most iconic scenes Monet painted outside Giverny. Nearby stands the impressive medieval Donjon Tower, built by King Philip II after he captured Normandy in the early 13th century — a powerful reminder of France’s royal past.
