Product Info

This experience alone is worth the trip to the far north to discover the legendary village of Muotkan Ruoktu and its magnificent surroundings.

Among the most popular things to do to discover Lapland in a different way, this mini snowmobile expedition offers you a unique, gentle, and accessible Arctic immersion for everyone in a full two hours. Perfect for a first experience, it combines adventure, discovery, and authenticity in a magnificent setting of tundra, taiga, boreal forests, and frozen lakes.

Do you dream of experiencing the magic of the Far North without embarking on an overly strenuous expedition? This snowmobile safari is perfect for you. From our traditional Lappish chalet, you set off in a small group of up to six snowmobiles through the untouched landscapes of the Muotkantunturi Nature Park, far from mass tourism and crowds. Drive alone or with a companion on a modern and stable snowmobile that is easy to handle, even for beginners. An option is available to drive alone (additional cost of EUR 40 per person). Please note that this activity requires a driver's license and is not available to children under 47" tall.

Guided by an experienced tour leader, you set off to discover the real Lapland. Here, snowmobiling is not just a hobby: it is the traditional mode of travel for the Sámi people. It allows you to reach the great outdoors, to rise up to contemplate endless panoramas, and to access untouched areas, far from roads and human traces. Keep your eyes open along the way, as it is common to come across free-roaming reindeer and sometimes even majestic moose crossing the snowy trail.

Each break is an opportunity to admire the serenity of the North, take a deep breath, and enjoy a hot coffee served in the heart of nature. Every moment reconnects you to the essentials: the cold wind on your cheeks, the crunch of snow under the snowmobile's skis, the enveloping silence of the Arctic forests. And if night falls under a clear sky, magic can happen: the Northern Lights sometimes appear, dancing silently above the snow-covered trees and putting on an unforgettable show.

This snowmobile safari is not just a tourist attraction but an authentic and nature-friendly adventure, organized in small groups, in the spirit of sustainable tourism. Here, there are no crowds or lines, but genuine human encounters, a warm welcome, and an immersion in the local culture. Whether you are alone, as a couple or with friends, this gentle adventure is an unforgettable way to discover authentic Lapland.

Let the silence, beauty, and energy of the Arctic guide you. A simple, accessible, and deeply memorable activity, with a small, intimate group, an experienced French/English-speaking live guide, a departure from a traditional Lappish chalet, and the guarantee of an off-the-beaten-track experience in the heart of Muotkantunturi Natural Park.
