Product Info

Reaching the summit of Svolværgeita is one of the best ways to see Lofoten from above. It's a two-pitch climb that puts you on a vertical wall above the fjord and the village of Svolvær. You don't need to be an experienced climber to do it, but you do need a guide who maintains calm and ensures safety throughout the activity.

Our groups are strictly limited to a maximum of 4 people per guide. This means that we move at a comfortable pace, explain how everything works before we start, and make sure you feel completely safe on the rock.

We'll meet in Svolvær and climb the Sherpa steps to the base of the needle (about a 40-minute walk). Once there, we'll put on our harnesses and helmets, review the basics, and start climbing. At the summit, you'll have plenty of time to enjoy the views over the fjord and make the descent safely with your guide.
