Product Info

If you're visiting Europe you should definitely have marvelous Lauterbrunnen high on your list—it’s the stunning Alpine valley everyone’s talking about. Around here, we call it "Valley of Waterfalls and Flying Squirrels". As a local, I’d love to show you the true beauty and magic of this place—complete with a fun, delicious, and educational cheese & chocolate tasting to get you ready for souvenir shopping!

Lauterbrunnen Valley is like stepping into a fairytale—except it’s real, and there’s no other place like this in the world. Towering cliffs, flower-filled meadows, and 72 glacial waterfalls—make this one of the most breathtaking places in the Alps.
Whether it’s your first time in Switzerland or your fifth, Lauterbrunnen never fails to impress.

Lauterbrunnen isn’t just about waterfalls and peaceful farms—it’s also the world capital of BASE jumping, the most extreme and adrenaline-pumping sport out there. Imagine watching fearless jumpers launch themselves off towering cliffs, flying through the air in special wingsuits.

While BASE jumping is incredibly daring (and definitely not for the faint-hearted), it’s a fascinating part of the local culture. If luck is on our side, we might even catch a live jump during the tour—what an unforgettable experience!

Cheese & Chocolate Tasting
After soaking in the stunning views and thrilling stories, it’s time for a delicious and educational tasting of the most important Swiss cheeses and chocolates available only in Switzerland.

I’ll share fascinating insights into Swiss farming traditions, the origins of these famous cheeses, and why Swiss chocolate is considered some of the best in the world—a perfect way to recharge before continuing our adventure and get you all set up for souvenir shopping.

After the tasting, we’ll take a short bus ride to Trümmelbachfälle (UNESCO World Natural Heritage site)—these are the only glacier waterfalls in all of Europe accessible to visitors on foot, where you can witness glacial waters thundering through narrow rock crevices at an incredible rate of up to 20,000 liters/second (5,283 gallons/second).

After exploring Trümmelbachfalle, you can choose to return to Lauterbrunnen by bus with me or return to the center of the town by easy, flat 1h walk through the farms.

To sum it up:
This tour offers a rare chance to discover Lauterbrunnen from two unforgettable perspectives - the peaceful, idyllic side with lush green meadows, charming farms, and cozy wooden chalets, but also with impressive forces of nature and community prioritizing extreme sports while living their dream.

Join me for a day packed with nature’s wonders, local culture, delicious cheese and chocolate and unforgettable memories you’ll cherish long after your trip.
