The Northern Lights are a memorable sight and everyone who has seen them will tell you why – they are completely mesmerizing. Given cloudless skies and a little bit of luck, sightings can occur from autumn to early spring.

The locals say that the colder it is, the more vibrant and intense the colors will be. Swirling and swaying overhead, the Northern Lights are usually greenish yellow but white, red, and pink lights also frequently appear.

  • Know Before You Go: The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and can never be guaranteed. Our guides use their experience and local knowledge to provide the best possible chance of seeing them

  • Know Before You Go: Due to weather, we may cancel the Northern Lights portion by 18:15 (6:15 PM) on the day of the tour if conditions aren't favorable. You can rebook for another date or receive a full refund

  • Know Before You Go: For the Northern Lights adventure, pickup is at either 20:30 (8:30 PM) or 21:30 (9:30 PM), depending on the season. You'll find the actual pickup time in the booking process and on your final voucher. Picking everyone up can take up to 30 minutes, your patience is much appreciated

  • Know Before You Go: If the tour takes place but no Northern Lights are seen, refunds are not issued. Instead, customers are offered unlimited free retries on the Northern Lights Minibus Tour, valid for up to 3 years. Our Customer Care team will assist with booking any retry
