Product Info

Your adventure begins by heading to the site of the island's most recent eruption. With the guidance of your tour guide, you'll learn about the volcanic activity in the region and how these phenomena continuously shape the Icelandic landscape.

You'll then begin a hike to inspect the recently formed lava fields, observing the development of the volcanic rock and its unique textures. You'll then head up to the vantage point near the crater to take in spectacular panoramic views of the eruption area. At the end of the tour, you'll return with a much deeper understanding of volcanology and the geological dynamics of Iceland.
