During this 3-hour hands-on workshop, you will explore the perfumer’s palette and learn how a fragrance is built – from the first sparkling notes to its deepest, most lingering accords.
Smell, compare and experiment with an extraordinary collection of more than 200 natural and synthetic fragrance materials, including oud, amber accords, vetiver, precious woods, resins, absolutes, florals, spices, citrus notes and modern aroma molecules.
You will learn how to recognise and describe different scents, understand how fragrance notes interact with one another, and discover which materials speak to your own sense of smell.
The experience also includes a guided exploration of selected niche perfumes and perfumery ingredients, giving you a deeper understanding of how professional perfumers transform individual raw materials into complex compositions.
Then it is time to become the ”Nose” yourself.
With personal guidance throughout the creative process, you will select your favourite materials, experiment with proportions and accords, and gradually compose a fragrance that is entirely your own.
There is no need for previous experience – only curiosity and a willingness to follow your nose.
At the end of the workshop, you will leave with your own personal fragrance creation to take home, along with a completely new way of experiencing the invisible world of scent.
