Product Info

Embark on a 1-hour harbor cruise from Wismar’s Old Harbor and discover the Hanseatic city from the water. Depending on the selected departure, you will travel aboard MS Hansestadt Wismar or MS Hanseat. From the seaside, enjoy a special view of Wismar’s historic old town, part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site “Historic Centres of Stralsund and Wismar”.

Cruise past the overseas port and timber terminal before heading toward Wismar Bay in the direction of Poel Island. Along the way, see harbor life, maritime industry, and coastal scenery from a relaxed perspective.

On the return journey, pass the listed fishing village of Hoben, the marine technology shipyard with one of Europe’s largest dock halls, and the old shipyard harbor. Your experienced captain will provide interesting commentary about the harbor, the sights, and the history of Wismar throughout the tour.
