Product Info

Your "Wine enjoyment on a narrow gauge" begins at the Radebeul Ost train station. There, your wine-savvy guide will greet you before you board a reserved car of the Lößnitzgrundbahn. The ride on the train, affectionately called the "Lößnitzdackel", takes you through the Lößnitzgrund to Moritzburg and back.

During the trip, you will taste three selected wines from Saxony. The tasting is expertly moderated and accompanied by water and bread. You will learn more about the wines presented, the Saxon wine region, and the people behind the wineries. Entertaining stories and anecdotes ensure that the train ride itself is also an experience.

After your return, weather permitting, you will take a short guided walk below the Radebeul vineyards. Afterwards, you will stop at a traditional Radebeul restaurant. There, a winemaker's buffet awaits you, where you can end the evening together with the other guests.

For the separately designated Advent special, a mulled wine reception and a festive 2-course menu are offered instead of the winemaker's buffet. You can find the corresponding services in the respective booking option.

  • Know Before You Go: The wine tasting is reserved for guests of legal age. Children from 6 to 12 years old can participate with a children's ticket and will not receive wine. The short walk below the vineyards will only take place if the weather permits.

  • Know Before You Go: A minimum of 15 people is required for this tour to operate. If this number is not reached, the tour may be canceled up to 10 days before the start. In this case, you can choose between rescheduling and a full refund of the booking price paid.

  • Know Before You Go: The excursion ends after dinner and not back at the meeting point at Radebeul Ost train station.
