Product Info

Discover Munich from its origins to the most intense chapters of the 20th century on this walking tour led by a tour guide with over 12 years of experience. This sightseeing tour is ideal for those who want to understand the true essence of the city, combining history, culture, and stories that connect each point with its historical context.

We'll start at Marienplatz, the heart of Munich, where you'll learn about the founding of the city and the evolution that made it a key center of the Holy Roman Empire. Here, we'll see the famous Glockenspiel and learn about the significance of this square throughout the centuries.

We'll continue to the oldest church in the Old Town, which we'll see from the outside, before heading to the Viktualienmarkt. At this traditional market, you'll discover Bavarian gastronomy and its cultural importance.

We'll also visit the Frauenkirche, the iconic symbol of the city, where we'll enter to admire its interior. The sightseeing tour includes key moments linked to the rise of Nazism and Munich's role as the "capital of the movement", providing historical context in a respectful and clear manner, without sensationalism.

We'll then visit Max-Joseph-Platz, the elegant Maximilianstrasse, and the National Theater before arriving at the Residenz, the former seat of the Wittelsbachs, where we'll talk about the political and cultural power of this dynasty for centuries. We'll end our tour at the famous Hofbräuhaus brewery.
