Discover the wildlife, culture, and warm hospitality of the Greater Kruger area on this 3-day safari and cultural experience from Hoedspruit. This package combines authentic village life, a stay at a Tented Lodge, a full-day safari in Kruger National Park, and a morning off-road safari experience.

After pickup from Hoedspruit or Eastgate Airport, travel to your Tented lodge in the Greater Kruger. Arrive in the early afternoon and settle into lodge before beginning an immersive Shangaan cultural experience. Spend time with members of the local community, learn about traditions, customs, storytelling, daily life, and take part in a traditional cooking experience. In the evening, enjoy dinner at the lodge in a boma setting before overnighting.

On the second day, wake up early for a full-day safari in Kruger National Park. Travel in an open safari vehicle with a professional local guide and search for elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, hippos, crocodiles, antelope, birds, and many other species. Your guide will share knowledge about animal behaviour, tracks, birds, trees, and the natural environment. During the day, stop at a Kruger rest camp or picnic area where you can buy meals or refreshments at your own cost.

Return to lodge in the afternoon, refresh, and enjoy a relaxed evening in the bush. Dinner will be served in a special bush or boma setting, allowing you to enjoy the sounds, atmosphere, and peacefulness of the African night.

On the final morning, enjoy a guided morning off-road safari experience in the Greater Kruger area, subject to reserve rules, road conditions, and wildlife movement. This is a chance to experience the bush from a different perspective before returning to camp for breakfast. After breakfast, check out and transfer back to Hoedspruit, Eastgate Airport, or your confirmed drop-off point.
