Product Info

Discover the breathtaking beauty of the Cape Peninsula on this guided cycling adventure from Cape Town to Noordhoek. Combining spectacular coastal scenery, fascinating local history, and iconic landmarks, this tour offers a unique way to experience one of the world's most beautiful cycling destinations.

Your journey begins at the Cycling Friends Shop in Cape Town, where you'll meet your guide, get fitted to your bike, and receive a short safety briefing. From here, you'll follow the stunning Atlantic coastline, riding through the vibrant neighborhoods of Green Point and Sea Point before reaching the famous beachside suburb of Camps Bay. Surrounded by white sandy beaches, turquoise waters, and the dramatic Twelve Apostles mountain range, this stretch of road offers some of Cape Town's most iconic views.

Continuing south, you'll pass secluded coves and scenic viewpoints on your way to Llandudno and Oudekraal. Along the route, your guide will share the fascinating story of the Antipolis, a Greek oil tanker that ran aground off the coast in 1978 and remains one of Cape Town's most famous shipwrecks.

The tour then enters the picturesque fishing village of Hout Bay, nestled between towering mountains and a beautiful sandy beach. Enjoy views of the bustling harbour and colorful fishing boats before beginning the climb to the legendary Chapman’s Peak Drive.

Widely regarded as one of the most scenic coastal roads in the world, Chapman’s Peak Drive is the highlight of the tour. Carved into the mountainside high above the Atlantic Ocean, the route offers breathtaking panoramas around every corner. A stop at one of the viewpoints allows time for photos and an opportunity to appreciate the spectacular surroundings.

After crossing Chapman’s Peak, enjoy a rewarding descent into the charming village of Noordhoek. Known for its relaxed atmosphere, local art scene, and equestrian heritage, Noordhoek is the perfect place for a well-earned break. Visit Noordhoek Farm Village, explore the local shops, and enjoy a coffee at one of the area's popular cafés.

The adventure continues to Long Beach, a vast stretch of white sand that seems to go on forever. Take a moment to step off your bike, feel the sand between your toes, and soak in the peaceful coastal atmosphere while enjoying views across the Atlantic Ocean.

After your break, you'll begin the return journey to Cape Town, retracing the spectacular route along Chapman’s Peak Drive, Hout Bay, Camps Bay, and the Atlantic Seaboard. Throughout the ride, your guide will share local insights and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

The tour concludes back at the Cycling Friends Shop, leaving you with unforgettable memories of Cape Town's stunning coastline, world-class cycling roads, and hidden gems along the Cape Peninsula.
