Villanueva, Barichara & San Gil: Paragliding Over the Canyon｜Colombia

During the flight, enjoy panoramic views of the canyon and the mountains surrounding Villanueva. Depending on visibility and wind conditions, you may also be able to see landmarks and landscapes such as Barichara, the Mesa de los Santos, and Uparamanga from above.

Villanueva is characterized by a distinctive landscape where different shades of green blend with mountains, rural areas, farmland, and natural formations. No previous paragliding experience is required. You will fly accompanied by a certified instructor, who will explain the basic safety instructions before takeoff and remain responsible for the flight throughout the experience. The flight lasts approximately 12 to 15 minutes, although the exact duration and route may vary depending on wind and weather conditions. Flights are generally recommended during the afternoon, when conditions can be more suitable for paragliding. However, the final flight time is always determined by the instructor according to the conditions on the day of the activity.
