Day 1: Kigali – Volcanoes National Park – Golden Monkey Trekking – Return to Kigali

Begin at 4:30 am, with an early morning departure from Kigali towards the spectacular Volcanoes National Park. Passing through the Beauty of Rwanda's Landscape.

After a briefing from expert park guides, venture into the lush bamboo forest in search of the endangered golden monkeys. Unlike many wildlife experiences, these lively primates are incredibly playful, curious, and often remain close to visitors, offering fantastic opportunities for photography. Watch them leap effortlessly from bamboo to bamboo, feed on fresh shoots, groom one another, and entertain the forest with their endless energy.

The peaceful atmosphere of the forest, fresh mountain air, birds singing overhead, and breathtaking volcanic scenery create an unforgettable experience that feels straight out of a nature documentary.

After your trek, enjoy lunch before returning to Kigali while admiring Rwanda's spectacular countryside.

Day 2: Kigali – King's Palace Museum – Scenic Drive to Nyungwe National Park

After breakfast, depart Kigali and begin one of Rwanda's most scenic road trips towards Nyungwe National Park.

Along the way, stop at the famous King's Palace Museum in Nyanza, where Rwanda's royal history comes alive. Explore the beautifully reconstructed traditional royal residence and discover fascinating stories of ancient kings and centuries-old traditions. Meet the magnificent Inyambo Royal Cows, famous for their enormous, elegant horns and graceful ceremonial performances a cultural treasure found nowhere else in the world.

Continue your journey through Rwanda's endlessly beautiful countryside. Pass picturesque tea plantations carpeting the hills, charming villages, fertile valleys, winding mountain roads, and breathtaking viewpoints that make every kilometer a memorable experience.

Arrive at Nyungwe National Park in the evening, surrounded by one of Africa's oldest and most biodiverse rainforests.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking in Nyungwe National Park – Return to Kigali

Wake before sunrise for one of Africa's most thrilling wildlife adventures.

After a briefing from experienced park guides, enter the ancient rainforest as the forest slowly awakens. Listen carefully... before you even see them, you'll hear the loud calls and excited screams of wild chimpanzees echoing through the trees.

Follow your guides deeper into the forest until suddenly you come face-to-face with these remarkable primates. Watch them swing effortlessly through the canopy, race across tree branches, communicate with one another, care for their young, and display astonishingly human-like behavior that never fails to amaze visitors.

Nyungwe is also home to more than 13 species of primates, hundreds of colorful bird species, butterflies, giant trees, orchids, and countless hidden forest wonders.

After this unforgettable experience, enjoy lunch before beginning your scenic return journey to Kigali.
