Product Info

Begin your tour with a pickup from your hotel in Antananarivo. Head to the Queen’s Palace, or Rovan'i Manjakamiadana, which has been overlooking the city for more than four centuries. Formerly the seat of the Merina kingdom, the complex reopened in June 2023 after extensive restoration following the 1995 fire.

Explore the palaces, tombs, and ceremonial buildings, and visit the museum, which is spread over four floors and dedicated to Malagasy monarchical history.

Next, visit the Museum of Photography, located in the former Mayors' Residence, and enjoy immersive exhibitions on the past of Tana.

Then, head to Lemurs’ Park, located 25 km from the center of Antananarivo. This 5-hectare estate, bordered by the Katsaoka River, is home to 7 species of lemurs from different regions of Madagascar, as well as other essential representatives of Malagasy flora and fauna.

Learn about the park's mission to introduce this surprising animal to as many people as possible and to reintroduce lemurs born in the park into their natural environment. After your visit, enjoy lunch on site before returning to your hotel.
