Day 2 (Pakbeng – Luang Prabang): In the morning, around 8:30 AM – 9:00 AM, you will board the boat (either the same one or a new one assigned by staff) to head towards Luang Prabang. This leg takes another 7–8 hours. You will arrive at the Luang Prabang Slow Boat Pier, located about 10 kilometers north of the town center. From there, local transport is readily available to take you into town.
Helpful Tips:
- Food & Snacks: Snacks and drinks on board tend to be pricier. It is a good idea to stock up before boarding, especially on the first day.
- Seat Cushions: Some slow boats feature wooden benches or older car seats. Sitting for 7–8 hours can get uncomfortable, so bringing a travel neck pillow or a soft seat cushion will make your journey much more enjoyable
