Embark on a 7-day adventure in the Amazon rainforest. Explore the jungle, observe wildlife, and learn about the local culture. Stay in a lodge and camp in the rainforest.

Day 1: Iquitos - Maniti Eco-Lodge
Depart from Iquitos and travel by car to the port town of Nanay (Bellavista), where the Rio Nanay meets the Rio Amazonas. Board a boat and travel downriver for 2 hours. Keep an eye out for caimans, turtles, herons, pink river dolphins, snakes, and other species of flora and fauna along the riverbank.

Arrive at Monkey Island and observe and interact with a variety of monkeys. Hold large Anacondas, Boas, and the Amazonian mata-mata turtle. See alligators, turtles, toucans, macaws, and parrots.

Head to the lodge and enjoy a dolphin watching session. If you are lucky, you might have the chance to swim with the pink freshwater dolphins. Go on a nocturnal nature hike to see lizards, snakes, and spiders.

Day 2: Maniti Eco-Lodge
Wake up early to see the sunrise over the Amazon River. Go on a boat excursion to observe various types of flora and fauna. After breakfast, go on a fishing excursion and try to catch piranha, catfish, and other species of fish.

After sunset, go on a canoe excursion to spot and catch caimans. Hold, touch, and take photos with the caimans.

Day 3: Maniti Eco-Lodge
Visit a local village to learn about the local people’s daily life and customs. In the afternoon, visit lagoons and tributaries in close proximity to the Maniti Lodge. Go on a jungle hike, canoe ride, fishing, plant education, or animal observation.

Day 4: Maniti Eco-Lodge
Go on a morning jungle hike to Palo Alto. Visit the Palo Alto Mirador, a lookout point with 3 different observation deck levels. Spend the night with excellent opportunities to observe various species of wildlife in their natural habitat.

Explore the area with a daytime hike, canoe ride in a lagoon, and fishing. Go on a night walk to see reptiles, spiders, and monkeys.

Day 5: Maniti Eco-Lodge
Go on a morning bird watching session from Palo Alto. Visit lagoons near the lodge and go on a jungle hike, canoe ride, fishing, and plant identification. After dark, go on a boat excursion to search for the white and black caiman.

Day 6: Maniti Eco-Lodge
Wake up early to see the sunrise over the Amazon River. Go on a daytime exploration of the area that includes hiking, canoe ride in a lagoon, and fishing. After dinner, go on a night excursion by boat to search for the various species of nocturnal animals.

Day 7: Maniti Eco-Lodge - Iquitos
Go on an early morning jungle hike to see a vast number of monkeys, birds, and other wildlife in their natural habitat. Depart from the campsite with destination Iquitos City. Visit a local native Indian tribe to learn about the history and their customs. Transfer to the airport or your hotel.
