Experience the best of two worlds with a two-day admission ticket to the San Diego Zoo and the San Diego Zoo Safari Park. Widely regarded as the best in the world, the San Diego Zoo features open-air enclosures and puts an emphasis on animal welfare and conservation. Its sister Safari Park boasts wide open spaces for its many animals to roam freely, mimicking their natural habitat as closely as possible.
Explore the San Diego Zoo, home to over 4,500 rare and endangered animals. Visit Polar Bear Plunge, Elephant Odyssey, and more. Winding paths through a tropical botanical garden lead you to koalas, Galápagos tortoises, tigers, eagles, flamingos, great apes, and beyond. The zoo’s festive, lively atmosphere makes it ideal for family fun and gathering friends. Discover wildlife through animal encounters, interactive experiences, and exciting animal presentations, shows, and exhibits.
The San Diego Zoo Safari Park is an adventurer’s safari paradise in Southern California. The 1,800-acre park is home to more than 3,000 animals representing more than 375 species, many living in wide open field enclosures. Choose from many tours and create memories with your family. Visit Sumatra to see tigers, orangutans, rhinos, and elephants. Follow Tiger Trail to learn about tigers and their current struggles, and in Lion Camp, come nose to nose with an African lion pride.
New for 2026, step into the groundbreaking Elephant Valley—the largest project in the park’s history. This immersive habitat brings you closer to African elephants than ever before, surrounding you with the sights, sounds, and scents of the savanna. Wander pathways lined with rare African plants, watch elephants at expansive watering holes, and stop at Mkutano House, a two-story restaurant inspired by African safari lodges. Learn from educators at Mkutano Park about elephant conservation and the vibrant cultures of Kenya, where people and elephants coexist. Elephant Valley is designed to inspire empathy and understanding, offering a powerful new way to connect with these remarkable animals.
And best of all, your participation contributes to conservation of species here and in more than 35 countries across the globe.
