-What You Can Expect-
Escape the hustle and bustle of the city and immerse yourself in the tranquil beauty of Cambodia's countryside. Meet your expert tour guide at Gingold Coffee at 7:30 AM, and get ready for an unforgettable adventure.

Our journey begins at 8:00 AM from Cafe shop. After a brief safety introduction, we’ll cycle towards the outskirts of the Angkor Archaeological Park, heading into the serene countryside where life has remained largely unchanged for centuries.

After a scenic 10 km ride through quiet paths and hidden backstreets, we’ll visit a local rattan basket weaver. Discover the intricate craft of weaving, observe a master at work, and even try your hand at this age-old tradition.

Next, we hop back on our bikes and continue through lush rice fields and past grazing buffalo. Our destination is a traditional Cambodian noodle shop, where you'll get to savor Num Banh Chok, a beloved staple of the Khmer diet.

We’ll then take a short ride to a charming village house, where we’ll relax and enjoy some delightful local snacks. This stop provides a unique chance to witness everyday rural life, with traditional building techniques reflecting the simple, yet enduring, lifestyle of the Cambodian countryside.

Our adventure continues as we head to the West Baray, an ancient man-made lake from the Angkorian era. Here, we’ll cycle along the peaceful banks, watching fishermen at work and spotting birds gliding gracefully overhead. Expect to return to Siem Reap around noon, full of memories from this tranquil escape.

But the adventure doesn’t have to end here! We’ve got more experiences lined up for you. Feel like exploring further? Take a leisurely stroll through the Apsara Gardens, or visit the Apopo Visitor Center, where you’ll learn about the extraordinary landmine-clearing rats (just 9 minutes away). For a more peaceful retreat, head to the Angkor Botanical Garden, a short 5-minute ride away, where you can enjoy the beauty of nature, along with a cozy café and restaurant to relax.

Your Cambodian countryside journey is just the beginning of a day filled with discovery and relaxation.
