Welcome to the Full Ocoee River Trip, located in the stunning Cherokee National Forest. Prepare yourself for an unforgettable adventure filled with rushing class III/IV rapids, a run through the 1996 Olympic Whitewater Competition course, big waves, breathtaking scenery, a riverside lunch under a canopy of trees and endless smiles! Whether you're with family or friends, this trip will surpass your expectations and create lifelong memories. No prior experience is necessary, but participants must be at least 12 years old. Our lifejackets can accommodate up to a 56" chest.

To make the most of your trip, please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled trip. During this time you'll check in, read & sign waivers, change into appropriate river attire, and purchase any additional items you may need for your journey.

Your thrilling adventure begins with a trip briefing from our experienced trip leader. They will provide essential information and instructions prior to your departure. After the briefing, we'll take a bus ride through the Cherokee National Forest along the Nation's first scenic byway, passing by Lake Ocoee and the river you'll be rafting. Once we reach the put-in area, each guide will conduct a comprehensive safety orientation and provide paddling instructions. You'll also have time to practice your paddling techniques before setting off on your river journey, which will last approximately 5 hours.

The Upper Ocoee is home the of 1996 Olympic whitewater competition. You'll race through rapids such as Mikey's, Godzilla, Humongous, Hungry Mother and Edge of the World. At the midway point we'll stop for lunch which will be served under a canopy of trees along the river. Lunch includes build your own deli sandwiches, peel-n-eat shrimp, fresh fruit, chips, cookies, tea and lemonade. Your journey continues to the Middle Ocoee; featuring Grumpy's, Broken Nose, Tablesaw, Hells Hole and more. At the end of the trip, our shuttle driver will be waiting to provide a quick ride back to the outpost.

Upon returning to the outpost, you'll have the opportunity to view and purchase action-packed photos of your adventure. Don't forget to visit our giftshop, where you can find t-shirts and unique souvenirs to commemorate your experience. If you'd like to freshen up, we offer hot showers and spacious changing facilities. Our onsite cafe is open 11am-7pm and offers delicious menu items. Additionally, you can relax in our covered picnic area or challenger your group to a friendly game of sand volleyball on our court.
