Tours depart from the historic (and haunted) Speakeasy Tavern located at 412 Congress Ave. downtown Austin. This building has been standing since the 1880s and was once the home of the Southwestern Telephone and Telegraph Co. It stood during the great fire of 1916, which has fueled some of Austin's most enduring ghost stories. You can wait inside near the front windows for your guide.
