Discover how the distillery is custom-designed to process Africa’s oversized agave piñas, including a steam autoclave — the global benchmark for agave cooking, used by leading tequila houses.

Learn about the process, from hand-harvesting the giants, to 72-hour steam cooking, fermentation, double distillation, and barrel aging in American and French oak barrels. Hear how each step mirrors the traditional methods safeguarded by Mexico’s Tequila Regulatory Council (CRT). While tequila remains a denomination of origin exclusive to Mexico, Rocco Torro voluntarily abides by CRT standards, ensuring its spirit offers the same meticulous quality and purity that tequila enthusiasts expect.
