Be one of the first visitors to experience the New Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) set to be the world's largest archaeological museum dedicated to a single civilization. It houses over 100,000 artefacts from ancient Egypt and is designed to provide a modern context for historic artefacts, featuring permanent and temporary exhibition spaces, a children's museum, conference facilities, and extensive gardens. Your experience will be completed by visiting the Giza Pyramids, the most iconic and ancient structures in the world.

You'll be picked up from your accommodation in Mersa Matruh, El-Alamein or the North Coast, then head directly to Cairo, from where you'll be driven to the Giza Pyramids. Admire the last remaining wonder of the ancient world before standing in awe beneath the Great Sphinx. Next, you'll enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.

Entering the Grand Egyptian Museum, you'll then start the journey of the Egyptian kings to eternity.   • Extra fees to be paid on site:Please note that you'll gain access to the pyramids area, but the entrance fees to get inside the pyramids (Cheops, Mykerinos or Kefren) are not included. The tickets available are limited and must be purchased on-site, so access is not guaranteed. The adult entrance fee for the Cheops Great Pyramid is around EGP 1500 and EGP 750 for children under 12. The adult entrance fee for Mykerinos or Kefren is around EGP 280 and EGP 140 for children under 12. Payment is available only with a credit card

  • Know in advance:If possible, you may want to arrange a take-away breakfast box and late dinner with your hotel reception before the tour date

  • The pickup time starts in the early morning between 03:00 - 04:00 subject to your hotel location and the journey to Cairo takes approximately 5 hours with short stopping at cafeterias on the road for rest and refreshments.
