Scuba diving can present certain health risks. All candidates are subject to a medical questionnaire before diving is permitted (further details in the info voucher you'll receive after booking)
All introductory divers aged 60+ must have an Australian Standards Medical, by a dive doctor, prior to travelling
All snorkellers aged 65+ are required to wear a snorkel vest during snorkelling sessions
Certified divers are required to provide proof of certification
Generally, a 12-hour waiting period is recommended before any pressurised flight and a 24-hour waiting period if a diver has made multiple dives over several days or has made decompression stops
Remember to bring:A towel, hat and sunglasses, 50+ sunscreen, a certification proof (for certified divers), an Australian Standards Medical (for over 60), money for any on-board purchases and warm clothing for the end of the day
You are also welcome to bring your own equipment for diving and snorkelling if you prefer, though, equipment hire is already included in the activity's price
