-What you can expect-
Dive into the life of a local with this tour, combining a snow safari and ice fishing in Levi. Cross over frozen lakes, through snowy fields, and sit down on the ice patiently for the fish to bite.

Meet your guide and gear up for your snowmobile safari. Listen to the safety briefing and head off into the wild. Follow your guide through the frozen forests over snow-covered tracks. Admire the stunning winter landscapes as you make your way to the frozen lake.

Once there, your guide will show you how to make a hole in the ice and fish. Enjoy a warm drink and listen to the stories your guide shares on life in Lapland and his own ice fishing experiences. It is then time to hop on your snowmobile again and drive back.

  • Please refer to your voucher for final information regarding meeting points, pick-up locations, and pick-up time

  • Meeting point description: Pickup is possible from selected locations in Levi, please choose the pickup point of your preference from the list in the calendar. Pickup will take place from 30 minutes before starting time, please make sure you are ready at that time. If you don't use the pickup service, meet directly at the Snowmobile Park in Levi, located at Levintie 1585, 99130 Kittilä, Finland. Please make sure to arrive 30 minutes before scheduled departure.

  • Extra fees to be paid on-site:Snowmobiles will be shared with another adult. Single snowmobile driving available for a €30/adult supplement on site

  • The snowmobile driver is responsible for any damages to the vehicle, with a personal self-liability of 950€ per person per snowmobile in case of an accident. Additional insurance can be purchased on site for 15€, reducing self-liability to 150€. This insurance must be purchased before the start of the tour

  • Know in advance:A minimum of 2 tickets is needed per booking

  • Children under the age of 15 will be seated in a sledge behind the snowmobile of the guide. It is recommended that one of the parents sits with a small child in the sledge for their safety

  • A minimum height of 140cm is required to sit on a snowmobile as a passenger, children sitting on a snowmobile will be charged a full adult price

  • The local operator will contact you via phone before the tour to confirm the pickup location and time

  • A valid driving licence is required to drive a snowmobile, you will be asked to show your licence before departure
