Phoenix des Lumières is a digital art centre that opened in January 2023 in the historic Phoenixhalle in Dortmund and follows the concept of the famous "Atelier des Lumières" in Paris.

It uses unique, innovative technology to create immersive exhibitions dedicated to some of the most famous artists in history. The exhibitions are designed to complement the signature architecture of the building with its 13m high walls and 5,600m² of projection surface.

You'll embark on an impressive journey where art comes to life and immerse yourself in worlds of colour, form and sound at Dortmund's new Phoenix des Lumières art centre. Experience an impressive, immersive art experience in the middle of the historic former gas blower hall at Phoenix West in Dortmund.
