Day 2 : Patna – Vaishali – Kesariya Stupa – Kushinagar (Approx. 235 KM / 6 Hrs.)
Travel to Vaishali, one of the most important Buddhist pilgrimage destinations where Lord Buddha delivered his final sermon before attaining Mahaparinirvana. Visit the Ashokan Pillar, Buddha Relic Stupa and other important Buddhist monuments associated with the history of Buddhism. Continue to Kesariya Stupa, one of the largest Buddhist stupas in the world and an important Buddhist heritage site connected with Lord Buddha's final journey. Later, proceed to Kushinagar and transfer to your hotel. Over night stay in Kushinagar.
Day 3 : Kushinagar Sightseeing
Visit Kushinagar, one of the four principal Buddhist pilgrimage destinations and the place where Lord Buddha attained Mahaparinirvana. See the Mahaparinirvana Temple, home to the revered reclining Buddha statue, and Ramabhar Stupa, traditionally believed to mark the cremation site of Lord Buddha. Continue to Mathakuar Shrine and several international Buddhist monasteries that highlight Kushinagar's importance as a global center of Buddhist pilgrimage. Over night stay in Kushinagar.
Day 4 : Kushinagar – Lumbini (Approx. 170 KM / 4 Hrs.)
Depart Kushinagar and travel to Lumbini in Nepal after completing the necessary India–Nepal border formalities. Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of the most sacred Buddhist pilgrimage destinations in the world and an important stop on the Buddhist Circuit. Associated with the birth of Siddhartha Gautama, the site attracts pilgrims and visitors from across the globe. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel.Over night stay in Lumbini.
Day 5 : Lumbini – Kapilvastu – Lumbini
Visit Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. See the Maya Devi Temple, Sacred Garden, Ashokan Pillar and Puskarini Pond, all closely associated with the birth of Siddhartha Gautama. Continue to the International Monastic Zone, where monasteries established by Buddhist communities from around the world showcase diverse Buddhist traditions and architectural styles.Later, travel to Kapilvastu, the ancient capital of the Shakya Kingdom where Prince Siddhartha spent his early years before beginning his spiritual path. Day 6 : Lumbini – Sravasti (Approx. 150 KM / 4 Hrs.)
Depart Lumbini and travel to Sravasti after completing the necessary India–Nepal border formalities. Sravasti is one of the most important Buddhist pilgrimage destinations, where Lord Buddha spent many monsoon retreats and delivered numerous teachings that played a significant role in the development of Buddhism. Day 7 : Sravasti Sightseeing – Varanasi (Approx. 320 KM / 7 Hrs.)
Visit Sravasti, one of the most important destinations on the Buddhist pilgrimage circuit, where Lord Buddha spent many monsoon retreats and delivered numerous teachings. See Jetavana Monastery, Anand Bodhi Tree, Angulimala Stupa and other archaeological remains associated with Buddhist history.After sightseeing, travel to Varanasi, one of the world's oldest continuously inhabited cities and an important center of religious, cultural and historical heritage in India. Upon arrival, attend the evening Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat, one of the city's most renowned religious ceremonies held along the banks of the River Ganges.Over night stay in Varanasi.
Day 8 : Varanasi – Sarnath – Bodh Gaya (Approx. 255 KM / 6 Hrs.)
Begin the day in Varanasi and spend time along the historic ghats of the River Ganges before travelling to Sarnath, where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon after attaining enlightenment and established the first Buddhist Sangha. Visit Dhamek Stupa, one of the most significant Buddhist monuments in India, along with Chaukhandi Stupa, Mulagandha Kuti Vihara and important archaeological remains associated with the origins of Buddhism.Later, continue to Bodh Gaya, the place where Lord Buddha attained enlightenment beneath the sacred Bodhi Tree and one of the most important destinations on the Buddhist pilgrimage circuit.Over night stay in Bodh Gaya.
Day 9 : Bodh Gaya – Barabar Caves – Rajgir – Nalanda
Visit Bodh Gaya, the most sacred destination in Buddhism and the place where Lord Buddha attained enlightenment. Explore the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Mahabodhi Temple Complex, the Sacred Bodhi Tree, Vajrasana (Diamond Throne), Great Buddha Statue and international monasteries representing Buddhist traditions from around the world.Continue to the historic Barabar Caves, among the oldest surviving rock-cut caves in India and an outstanding example of Mauryan-era architecture. Later, travel to Rajgir and visit Griddhakuta Hill (Vulture Peak), where Lord Buddha delivered many important discourses, and Venuvana Monastery, the first monastery offered to Buddha and the Buddhist Sangha by King Bimbisara.Proceed to Nalanda University, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the world's earliest centers of Buddhist learning. Explore the extensive ruins of monasteries, temples and academic structures that once attracted scholars and monks from across Asia. After sightseeing, return to Rajgir.Over night stay in Rajgir.
Day 10 : Rajgir – Patna Departure (Approx. 100 KM / 2.5 Hrs.)
After breakfast, depart Rajgir and travel to Patna, historically known as Pataliputra and one of the most important cities of ancient India. Upon arrival, transfer to Patna Airport or Patna Junction Railway Station for your onward journey.
