  • Jongmyo Shrine

Jongmyo Shrine is the place where the spirit tablets of the successive kings of the Joseon Dynasty are enshrined and memorial rites are performed. Built in 1394 by King Taejo (1335-1408), Yi Seong-gye, alongside Gyeongbokgung Palace upon the founding of the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910) in the new capital of Hanyang, it preserves traditional solemn rituals, ceremonial music, and long-standing customs. It was registered as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site in 1995.

  • Changdeokgung Palace

Registered as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site in 1997, Changdeokgung Palace was built in 1405 as a secondary palace to the main palace, Gyeongbokgung. Following the reign of King Gwanghaegun (1571-1641, the 15th king of the Joseon Dynasty), it served as the royal residence where the affairs of the Joseon Dynasty were conducted for approximately 270 years. The site covers a total of about 135,000 square meters and includes 13 palace buildings, with 28 pavilions located in the rear garden (Huwon) that occupies the northern half. The charm of Changdeokgung lies in its beautiful palace garden, which makes the most of the rich natural landscape; the seasonal scenery of the rear garden is truly a sight to behold.

  • Hanbok Experience

Commonly known as Chima Jeogori, the term refers to the chima (skirt) and jeogori (jacket), and is called 'Hanbok' in Korea. The version worn by men is also referred to as baji (trousers) and jeogori (jacket). The history of Hanbok spans 1,600 years, and in recent years, modernized and more vibrant versions have become popular among the younger generation. By changing the color harmony between the lower and upper garments or adjusting the length of the jacket, the overall atmosphere changes dramatically, allowing for a variety of combinations to be enjoyed.

  • Seosunnara-gil (West Patrol Road)

Seosunnara-gil is especially beautiful in spring and autumn. It was named 'Seosunnara-gil' (West Patrol Road) because it is located to the west of the Sunnacheong, which was responsible for patrolling the area around Jongmyo Shrine. Nearby are popular traditional tourist areas such as Ikseon-dong, Insa-dong, Bukchon, and Samcheong-dong, and Seosunnara-gil itself is rich in attractions including restaurants, cafes, and workshops. The stone wall scenery is particularly beautiful during the blooming spring and the colorful autumn, attracting many visitors.

'Mokmyeoksanbang' is a renowned restaurant that has captivated Seoul's foodies with its bibimbap alone and has been featured in the Michelin Guide multiple times. They use absolutely no chemical seasonings, instead relying on carefully selected seasonal namul (vegetables) and traditional cooking methods to maximize the natural flavors of the ingredients. The harmony of their gochujang, which is deep in flavor without being overly spicy, and their fragrant sesame oil is highly acclaimed by Japanese tourists.

  • N Seoul Tower Octagonal Pavilion (Palgakjeong)

The Octagonal Pavilion, the heart of Seoul and the symbol of Namsan, is a representative landmark that symbolizes the city. It is a place of rest visited by many tourists throughout the year, where panoramic urban views harmonize with the beauty of traditional Korean architecture.
