This group tour will start by visiting Castello Sforzesco, one of the main symbols of Milan and its history, it is the venue of important cultural institutions and a tourist destination, in addition to being one of the largest castles in Europe. Cross Parco Sempione in order to see Arco della Pace, an iconic neoclassical monument, and La Triennale, which houses exhibitions, conferences and events of art, design, architecture, fashion, cinema, communications and society. Next will be the church of the patron Saint of Milan, Sant'Ambrogio. Continue on to the Navigli district renowned for its ingenious system of navigable canals and the Darsena, the old mercantile port of Milan. This area is also enriched by Piazza XXIV Maggio, dominated by the neoclassical Porta Ticinese. Here, you will be in Ticinese district, one of the most fascinating areas of the city, not only for its cultural value and historical buildings (such as the Basilica of Sant’Eustorgio and the Basilica of San Lorenzo), but also for fashion, underground pop culture and nightlife. Then, you will explore the heart of the city by visiting Piazza della Scala, where you will see Palazzo Marino and the Teatro alla Scala, the opera house. After taking a look at Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II (The Lounge of Milan), you will arrive to Piazza Duomo and its beautiful cathedral. Closing the tour will go trough the artistic district of Brera.
