Embark on a full-day tour from Bucharest and discover some of Transylvania’s most famous landmarks. Experience the history, architecture, and legends surrounding Peles Castle, the medieval city of Brasov, and Bran Castle, also known as Dracula’s Castle.

Begin with a scenic drive to Sinaia, home to the magnificent Peles Castle, once the summer residence of Romania’s royal family. Admire its impressive Neo-Renaissance architecture and royal setting, with free time to explore the castle independently if you have purchased an entrance ticket.

Continue to Brasov, one of Transylvania’s most charming medieval cities. Stroll through the historic Old Town and discover landmarks such as the Black Church and Council Square. Enjoy free time to explore, take in the atmosphere, or sample local cuisine.

Then travel to Bran Castle, dramatically set on a rocky hill and famously associated with the legend of Dracula. Discover the stories surrounding the castle and its historical role on the border between Transylvania and Wallachia, with free time to visit the castle independently.

After a full day discovering Transylvania, relax on the journey back to Bucharest.

  • Know Before You Go: On Mondays and Tuesdays, Peles Castle is closed for interior visits. You can admire the castle from the outside and explore the castle grounds

  • Know Before You Go: Bran Castle tickets can be purchased on the day of the tour, based on the estimated arrival time

  • Know Before You Go: The itinerary order and return time may vary depending on traffic, opening hours, and other operational conditions
