    - Spot Introduction -

    • Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn) [First-Class Royal Temple]
Arun means "dawn," and it is the temple depicted in Yukio Mishima's novel "The Temple of Dawn." As a first-class royal temple, it is said to have five beautiful stupas that blend Thai Buddhism and Hinduism.

    • Wat Pho (Temple of the Reclining Buddha) [World Heritage Site]
This is Bangkok's oldest temple, said to have been built in the 5th century. The entire structure is carved from stone, depicting Buddha lying down with his right hand as a pillow, facing west, symbolizing his ascension to the Western Heaven.
    • Emerald Temple [One of Thailand's three national treasures]
The temple gets its name from the jade Buddha statue enshrined within its grounds. The Emerald Temple is located in the northeast corner of the Bangkok Grand Palace and is the most famous temple in Thailand, and one of Thailand's three national treasures.
    • Royal Palace (Grand Palace)
The Grand Palace, the royal residence of the Thai royal family, is located in the heart of Bangkok. Through the efforts of successive kings, it has finally become a magnificent palace complex.
