This is a traditional Japanese Daruma doll painting experience located at the foot of Mt. Fuji, right in front of the Chureito Pagoda. Daruma dolls are known as lucky charms for making wishes, and in this experience, you will create your own original Daruma doll while feeling the meaning behind it. In this plan, you will paint a mini Daruma doll that is about 5 cm tall. It is compact and cute, and can be easily experienced in a short amount of time. You will start by painting a plain white Daruma doll. First, you will practice using the brush on paper, and then you will freely paint your favorite colors and expressions on the actual Daruma doll. Staff will provide careful support so that even first-timers and children can enjoy it with peace of mind. The time required is about 30 minutes to 1 hour, so you can easily participate in between sightseeing. You can take your completed Daruma doll home with you, and we will also give you a mini tatami mat to display it on as a gift. It is also said that taking a photo of Mt. Fuji, the Chureito Pagoda, and the Daruma doll together will make your wish come true, so it is also recommended as a travel memory.
