Discover Crete’s most famous archaeological site and its vibrant capital on a full-day trip from Rethymno. Enjoy a stress-free experience with hotel pickup and drop-off, transportation by air-conditioned bus, and the company of a certified professional guide from our agency.

Your first stop is the Palace of Knossos, where you will enjoy a guided tour in English of the legendary Minoan palace. Learn about the history, myths, and architecture of this ancient site, including the famous legend of the Minotaur and the Labyrinth.

During the bus journey, information and commentary are provided in English and German.

Continue to Heraklion, where you will have approximately 4 hours of free time to explore the city at your own pace. Visit the Archaeological Museum (with guided explanation in English), stroll through the old town, enjoy shopping, relax at a café, or have lunch at a local restaurant.

At the end of the day, return comfortably to your hotel in Rethymno.
