所有經平台配對的船家均領有海事處批出的合法經營牌照，並購買第三者責任保險，惟個人活動之人身及財物安全，客人需自行承擔保障。
於島上進行的活動皆有風險，客人宜於出發前留意香港天文台的潮汐、風力、氣溫等資訊，做好事前規劃，緊記安全至上。
關於風勢：
- 輕微（1-2 級）：海面平靜，適合活動。
- 和緩（3-4 級）：海面少浪，可能出現白頭浪，需有相關經驗與技術。
- 強風（6-7 級）：海面白頭浪湧現，等同 3 號風球，應取消水上活動。
若於出發前兩小時香港天文台發出一號或以上風球、紅色或黑色暴雨警告，或吹東風 3 至 4 級或以上，行程將會取消，可改期或全數退款。
如於出發途中香港天文台發出上述警告或遇上極端天氣，船家基於安全原則將返回碼頭，當日行程視作完結，不獲改期或退款。
Splitdyboat Company 基於安全理由保留最終決定權是否改期或取消。
- 十三歲以下小童需有成人陪同。
- 不建議懷孕、心臟病患者、健康狀況不良或曾有運動創傷（尤其膝蓋／腳踝／頸部）的人士進行此活動。
