Itinerary Overview
08:00-10:00 Depart from the city for the Dandenong Ranges. Travel through the lush Dandenong Ranges, experience Australia's natural ecology, and head to the century-old steam train. (The itinerary and departure time will vary between standard time and daylight saving time. The schedule is for reference only; please refer to the travel notification for the specific meeting time.)
12:45 Arrive at the Dandenong Ranges to ride the steam train. Amidst the lush greenery of the Dandenong Ranges, you will ride this vintage steam train and experience Australia's unique natural scenery and ecological charm [Approx. 30-60 minute ride. Depending on specific train ticket availability, the starting and ending stations may be adjusted; please follow the arrangements of the driver/guide on the day~]
[Gourmet Accompaniment] The steam train journey offers meal services, allowing you to enjoy delicious food during your trip.

14:00 Arrive at Maru Koala and Animal Park [at your own expense]. Feed kangaroos and get up close with koalas, emus, and other animals unique to Australia. You can even see the endangered Tasmanian Devil!
15:30 Arrive at the Chocolate Factory (at your own expense; this itinerary runs during standard time). Explore the mysterious chocolate factory.

16:30 Arrive at the Nobbies Centre. Here you may have the chance to see the seal habitat.
*Due to wildlife conservation efforts at the Nobbies, operating hours may be adjusted periodically; access to the Nobbies is not guaranteed.
17:10 Arrive at Phillip Island to watch the Penguin Parade. The Phillip Island Nature Park is one of the world's largest wild penguin sanctuaries.
21:30 Arrive in Melbourne city center and conclude a pleasant day!

This tour requires a minimum of 4 participants. If the minimum number of participants is not reached, you will be notified of cancellation and receive a full refund 2 days prior to departure.

Reminders

  • Please note that the itinerary may be subject to change due to weather or traffic conditions on the day of the trip. We regret that we cannot request modifications or cancellations based on this reason.

  • From May 1, 2025 to August 30, 2026, Nobbies will be open from 10 am to 4:30 pm daily to protect local wildlife.

  • Due to the limited opening hours of Seal Rock, the train penguin tour is subject to train schedules, and participation in Seal Rock tours cannot be guaranteed. Please be aware of this, thank you;

  • If the steam train scenic area unilaterally cancels the trip due to force majeure (including but not limited to high temperatures, government or scenic area safety regulations), we will assist in handling relevant refund and change arrangements according to the actual situation.

  • (1) Cancellations and changes can be processed normally 72 hours or more before departure;

  • (2) For cancellation or change requests made 24-72 hours before departure, the cost of the Penguin Island single ticket already incurred will be deducted or made up.

  • (3) If the trip resources have been actually used within 0-24 hours before departure, the fee will not be refunded. Alternatively, you may choose to change to the "Rainbow Hut + Penguin Island" trip. The price difference resulting from the change of trip will be refunded.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations 15 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
  • For cancellations made 8 to 14 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 40% will apply
  • Cancellation is not allowed between 0–7 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
NOTE
  • Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once your refund request is confirmed, KKday will initiate the refund to your original payment method within 15 days. The actual refund timing depends on your card-issuing bank’s policy.
