- About Togakushi Ski Resort -
Surrounded by the magnificent nature of Nagano Prefecture, Togakushi Ski Resort is a popular destination known for its stunning views of the majestic Togakushi mountain range and its 19 diverse ski courses. The panoramic view from the summit is breathtaking, catering to skiers and snowboarders of all levels, from beginners to experts. The resort is famous for its incredibly light 'magic powder snow.' As moist air from the Sea of Japan crosses the mountains, the moisture is lost, leaving behind light, dry, and high-quality powder snow that blankets Togakushi. Combined with meticulous grooming techniques, the resort maintains excellent conditions at all times.
Enjoy a premium winter experience at Togakushi Ski Resort, where nature, snow quality, scenery, and gourmet food come together.
There are also plenty of challenging courses for advanced skiers: the Champion Course with a maximum gradient of 31 degrees, the Adventure Course with its steep mogul slopes stretching for 650 meters, and other slopes that are among the most challenging in Japan, making for a great skiing experience.
Family-friendly facilities: With a ninja-themed "ninja slope" and a beginners' practice area, it's perfect for families and those trying skiing for the first time. Experienced instructors are always on hand at the rental shop to help you choose the right equipment.
At the ski slope restaurant, you can enjoy local delicacies such as the famous "Togakushi Soba" and the Grand Prix-winning raclette. *At your own expense
Popular sightseeing spots in the area include visiting Togakushi Shrine in winter, which is lined with rows of cedar trees, and snowshoe tours.
