[Day 1] Canoe Lecture & WELCOME Party. Meet at the Shimanto-cho Showa Furusato Exchange Center. At the starting point of the river journey, first, we will have a thorough canoe lecture. Let's equip ourselves with items to enjoy the river journey at a leisurely pace! The campsite for this day is a pleasant grassy area. It is the only artificial campsite during the tour.

. Depart after lunch. The scenery created by black rocks of various sizes gives the water flow many different expressions. Let's take a peek at the various water flows and patterns. When you look around from a canoe navigating between the rocks, you are in the wilderness. There is a campsite where you can hear rutting calls at night.

. Lunch on the way. There are plenty of places to encounter the mysteries of water. Enjoy a deep dialogue with the water! Let's cross the Kuchiyanai Chinkabashi, an arched bridge and the oldest submersible bridge on the Shimanto River, to refuel with human food! Perfect for birdwatching! We will pass through spots where you can often see crested kingfishers and common kingfishers. A private campsite on a beach accessible only by river. At night, enjoy a campfire and bourbon...
