    • 'Yusan-bako' refers to a special bento box used in Tokushima from the Edo period until around 1965 for 'Yusan' (the act of going out to play in the fields and mountains). On festive occasions like the Peach Festival or the Iris Festival, children would carry these colorful Yusan-bako boxes when they went out to play. In this experience, you will learn about the unique Tokushima culture of 'Yusan-bako,' and try your hand at arranging food in the boxes before tasting them. Additionally, Ms. Shimauchi, who runs a table coordination studio, will offer suggestions on how to use them in various settings, packing the charm of Yusan-bako into one experience. ～Schedule～ 1.
