Looking for a family-friendly 3-hour fishing tour in the Fuji Five Lakes area? Whether you prefer early morning, afternoon, or evening, we have you covered. We also offer full-day sightseeing guides, ski and snowboard lessons, and tours of the Aokigahara forest and caves. Our nature experience tours around Mt. Fuji are primarily designed as hands-on weekend plans for elementary school children and preschoolers to enjoy the great outdoors. Girls are also welcome to participate. We look forward to seeing parents and children join us. Please arrive at Lake Motosu by 8:00 AM. The morning is the best time for fishing. During the summer, evening sessions are also available. The fish also have a habit of eating stink bugs and cicadas. On the day of the tour, we will meet at Lake Motosu for a rainbow trout fishing experience. Our theme is enjoying the great outdoors, fish, animals, and insects. We will start with a fishing lecture and target native rainbow trout. While waiting for a bite, we can enjoy activities like catching gobies, finding insects (there are beautiful stink bugs!), bird watching, and searching for driftwood. We plan these activities to ensure everyone has a great time. Experience the incredible pull of these fish, which is on a completely different level from those in managed fishing ponds. You can take home up to 10 fish. Please bring a cooler box with ice. Folding chairs are also recommended. Best fishing times: Winter: Fish can be caught in shallow areas. Spring/Autumn: Fish are in slightly deeper areas. Summer: Cast from the cliff drop-offs and explore the 30m to 50m range. Therefore, while fishing is possible ALL SEASON, these North American fish are more active and delicious in the cold. Please purchase a fishing permit as required by the Lake Motosu Fisheries Cooperative. The fee is 1000 yen for adults.
