- There are several rules for swimming with dolphins. Toshima's dolphins are wild. Human behavior can startle, wary, or anger them, causing them to avoid approaching. Please abide by these rules, as they are necessary to protect the dolphins. Please be aware that serious violations may result in the dolphin swim being cancelled or participation being prohibited.

Tokai Kisen operates regular ferries and jet boats bound for Toshima from Takeshiba Passenger Ship Terminal in Tokyo.
The journey from Takeshiba, Tokyo to Kozushima takes 9 hours and 40 minutes by regular boat, and 2 hours and 20 minutes by jet boat.
