    • This is a small, shallow, and clean river about 2km upstream from Akiya Coast. Due to the exposed rock formations and slippery conditions, marine shoes are a must. (Rubber boots are available for free rental from autumn to spring.) Wearing a swimsuit and marine shoes, we will travel upstream for approximately 1.5 hours, listening to a lecture about the creatures. We will search for mountain crabs and mitten crabs in the rocky river, focusing on stag beetles, long-legged shrimp, and dragonfly larvae. The meeting point is the Akiya bus stop, and there is a parking lot nearby. However, due to expected congestion, we recommend coming by train or bus. We look forward to your participation. What to bring: Marine shoes (from the end of March to October), swimsuit, rash guard, spats, drink, hat, backpack, plastic bag for carry-out, and bubble tea (a battery-powered oxygen device). What to bring: Rubber boots (from November to mid-March), net, and storage bucket. PS: Generally, the minimum number of participants required for a session is 5 people.
