- This plan is for international visitors who are not comfortable with Japanese. An English-speaking guide will accompany you. This is a kayaking picnic project in the nature-rich Oku-Nikko/Lake Chuzenji area!! Feel the unique natural environment of Oku-Nikko from the lake surface, get close to the giant Mizunara oak tree known as the 'Mother Tree,' or head slightly offshore to view the majestic figure of Mt. Nantai, which stands at an altitude of 2,486m. Let's enjoy kayaking at 'Lake Chuzenji,' a dream destination for kayak enthusiasts! Access from the Tokyo metropolitan area is also excellent. Even if you are a complete beginner at kayaking, we will provide stable kayaks with a low risk of capsizing, so everyone from small children to seniors can enjoy kayaking safely and happily. Why not try kayaking with your family, partner, or friends?

- This plan is for those who are kayaking for the first time. An English-speaking guide will accompany you. Choose a start time from 9:00, 11:30, or 14:00. The tour lasts approximately 2 hours from reception to dismissal. Paid rental items are available, so you can participate empty-handed.

- Once you get used to kayaking, enjoy a leisurely kayak picnic along the nature-filled lakeshore. Let the slow-flowing Oku-Nikko time heal you from your busy daily life. Once you get used to kayaking, head a little offshore to view the magnificent Mt. Nantai—you are sure to be moved.

What You Can Expect

- 09:10Land instruction. Land instruction in the quiet forest. We will lecture from how to hold the paddle, so there is no problem for beginners.
- 09:30On-water instruction. We will lecture on the basic operation of the kayak. We will provide stable kayaks.
- 09:45Tour start. We will guide you through various courses depending on your paddling ability.
- 10:00Commemorative photo. Take a photo with Mt. Nantai in the background.
- 10:30Free time. We will adjust to your pace, so please spend your time as you like.
- 11:00Dismissal. You are free to leave after changing your clothes.

Questions about booking:
- Question 1: Please tell us the gender of the participants and their grade level if any children under elementary school age are participating. (Example) Adults: 1 male / 1 female, 1 8-year-old male / 1 5-year-old female
- Question 2: How many single and double kayaks do you need? (Single kayaks are available for ages 11 and up.)
- Question 3: We will provide clothing. Please fill in the "height" and "body type (skinny, normal, stocky, etc.)" of all participants. Please note that we will not be able to provide clothing if this information is not provided.
- Question 4: Please fill in if you need any paid rental items (500 yen each: shoes, T-shirts, shorts). (If so, please let us know the item, size, and quantity.)
Regarding cancellation of the event:
- The event will be held in snowy or rainy weather. It will also be held in downpours. In the unlikely event that the event is canceled, we will contact the person who made the reservation by 8:00 PM the day before the event. If we do not receive any contact, the event will generally be held, so thank you for your understanding. However, in rare cases, due to weather disaster warnings, we may be forced to cancel the event at the last minute if safety cannot be ensured. Please note that in the event of a last minute cancellation, participants will be responsible for transportation costs to the event site. Furthermore, if the event is canceled at the last minute for unavoidable reasons, we will reschedule the participation date or refund the full participation fee already paid.

- ・Children under 10 years old can participate if they are over 100cm tall. *Children between 5 and 12 years old must ride with a parent or guardian.

Regarding rental equipment: *On hot days, we will not be providing free cold weather rental clothing to prevent heatstroke. We will be covering the tour in light clothing such as T-shirts and shorts. *On cold or rainy days, we will provide cold weather wetsuits, paddling jackets, and paddling pants.

・By car:
Take the Tohoku Expressway from Utsunomiya IC to the Nikko Utsunomiya Expressway and exit at Nikko Kiyotaki IC.
Take National Route 120 toward Lake Chuzenji, up Irohazaka, and continue for about 4km with the lake on your left.
It takes about 30 minutes under normal circumstances from Kiyotaki IC.
Take the Tohoku Expressway from Urawa IC to Imaichi IC: Approximately 90 minutes (approximately 129km).

・By train:
Take the Tobu bus from Tobu or JR Nikko Station.
Take the bus bound for Yumoto Onsen from Nikko Station for about an hour. Get off at the "Chuzenji Kanaya Hotel" bus stop. The hotel is located in the forest on the right side of the road.
*Please note that during peak tourist season, it may take more than three hours by bus from Nikko Station to the site.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations 8 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
- For cancellations made 2 to 7 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 30% will apply
- For cancellations made 1 to 1 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 50% will apply
- Cancellation is not allowed between 0–0 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
NOTE
- Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once your refund request is confirmed, KKday will initiate the refund to your original payment method within 15 days. The actual refund timing depends on your card-issuing bank’s policy.
