Gathering and reception. *This is a typical schedule for the meeting time. The basic flow remains the same for other meeting times. Please arrive at the time you selected when booking. Gather at the ziggies base! We will confirm your booking at the reception and process the payment. Then, we will explain the tour details and have you fill out the necessary items on the liability waiver. Once you are ready, our staff will guide you on how to wear your wetsuit and show you to the changing rooms!

Preparation and transfer. Once you have finished changing, take your helmet, life jacket, and paddle and head to the starting point by car. During the ride, your guide for the day will boost your motivation by talking about rafting and sightseeing!

Safety talk. We will check how to wear helmets and life jackets. We will also explain the posture to take if you fall into the river to ensure you enjoy rafting safely. There will also be an explanation on how to hold and use the paddle, so please listen carefully!

Spring snowmelt rapids rafting! The Minakami rafting course is divided into 5 sections. During the spring high-water season, we actively start from the upper reaches where you can enjoy the rapids! The rapids sections can only be navigated when conditions such as water level and guide skills are met. That makes the excitement even higher! Highly recommended if you want to enjoy thrills!

Summer river play rafting. During the summer season, the water level settles down, but you can still enjoy the rapids! While admiring the scenery, fully enjoy water activities at the foot of Mt. Minakami, the source of the Tone River. You can also enjoy river play such as jumping from rocks and body rafting!

Goal, transfer, and dismissal. Once you reach the goal, everyone will help pack up the boats and return to the base. After arriving at the base, take a shower and refresh! Once you have finished changing, don't forget to check the photos taken by the guides and photographers during today's tour! Please take them home as a memory of your trip.

Regarding cancellation of the event:

Cancellation due to weather, etc. Normally, the tour will be held even if it rains, but it may be cancelled if the river is expected to flood or there is danger due to a typhoon or heavy rain. If we decide to cancel, we will contact you by phone. We may contact you at the last minute due to sudden changes in the weather. Thank you for your understanding. Also, if thunderclouds appear or a heavy rain warning is issued, the tour may be cancelled at the site in preparation for flooding, or we may withdraw early even after the tour has departed. Thank you for your understanding.
