Product Info

  • This tour is only available from January to March. It involves whale watching by boat in the morning and sea turtle snorkeling in the afternoon. (The tour may change depending on the weather.) You can join as a day trip from the main island of Okinawa.
  • Are you worried that you might not see any whales?
  • At the Zamami Whale Watching Association, we use binoculars to search for whales from the observation deck on Zamami Island early every morning, so that you won't end up disappointed with no whales. We set out on a boat only after spotting whales. By keeping an eye on the whales from the observation deck, we are able to keep track of many pods of whales by the time you arrive at the site. We will guide you accurately to areas where there are many active whales and a large number of whales.
  • You can swim even in winter!
  • Since we've come all the way to Kerama, we should try snorkeling. The water temperature in Okinawa in winter is around 22 degrees Celsius, which is about the same as the water temperature in July in Honshu. However, it still feels cold, so we put on our diving wetsuits and start snorkeling.

Regarding cancellation of the event:

  • If the weather or sea conditions are expected to worsen, we will contact you the day before or the morning of the reserved date to cancel the tour. In this case, there will be no cancellation fee.

Please note the following when participating in this course:

  • Please note that the price varies depending on age: 8,900 yen for adults, 6,900 yen for junior high school students, and 4,900 yen for elementary school students and younger.

  • What to wear and bring: For whale watching: rain gear (raincoat), shoes (no high heels), motion sickness medicine; For snorkeling: swimsuit, towel

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations 2 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
  • For cancellations made 1 to 1 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 50% will apply
  • Cancellation is not allowed between 0–0 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
NOTE
  • Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once your refund request is confirmed, KKday will initiate the refund to your original payment method within 15 days. The actual refund timing depends on your card-issuing bank’s policy.
