Dye an eco-bag using earth and plants! Enjoy a dyeing experience using dyes primarily made from Okinawa's natural materials! In this plan, you can try dyeing one eco-bag. Most of the materials are naturally derived, such as fukugi (garcinia) and red clay. We offer a wide variety of dyeing methods, from plant-based dyeing to authentic indigo dyeing. Feel free to find your favorite dyeing method from our samples. Our instructors will provide careful support on the day. Even if it is your first time, you can participate with peace of mind. You can take your finished work home on the same day, making it a perfect souvenir from your trip to Okinawa.
Experience dyeing in Nakijin Village, Okinawa! Dye with vibrant, natural colors!
Most of the materials used for dyeing are natural, such as plants native to Okinawa, Indian indigo, and local soil. 'Threads' and 'fabrics' color our lives and surround us in various forms, from clothing to interior decor. We have succeeded in developing new threads from Okinawan plants such as hibiscus and okra. We also exhibit and sell original works, including cute fabric items from Nakijin Village. Please take your time to look around when you visit our workshop.
