2. 5 Reasons Why Travel Forest Recommends This Tour
(2-1) Not just a guide who 'speaks' Korean, but a professional Korean guide
The Travel Forest Dubai & Abu Dhabi tour is
not conducted by a local guide who speaks a little Korean,
but by a professional Korean guide who has lived in Dubai for a long time and holds a license.
From Guide Hwang Young-jo, a former SBS comedian with witty conversation and extensive knowledge,
to Guide Lee Ji-yeon, a veteran who has lived in Dubai and Abu Dhabi for over 10 years, satisfying everyone with her meticulous tours,
our professional Korean guides will share local episodes, history, culture, and religious backgrounds,
making the density of your trip completely different.
'The best way to understand Dubai & Abu Dhabi'
This is the reason why we call this tour that.
(2-2) Airport pickup + Hotel pickup + Private vehicle for the full day
For those arriving in Dubai on early morning flights (such as EK323), you can join the morning city tour immediately after being picked up from Dubai Airport.
Those staying at hotels in Dubai city can conveniently join by being picked up at the hotel lobby.
The rest of the schedule is traveled by private vehicle (sedan or 7-seater/14-seater), and it is characterized by flexible operation centered on small groups, rather than large bus group tours.
High-density engagement that is difficult to expect from large package tours, such as communication with the guide, individual photo opportunities, questions, and requests, is possible.
(2-3) The 'Core Route' of Dubai, perfectly condensed into half a day
The most common question from first-time visitors to Dubai is, 'What are the must-see places?'
You can consider this tour as the complete answer to that question.
- Old Town Bastakiya & Al Seef
- Dubai Creek & Abra Experience
- Dubai Frame (Exterior & Photo Spot)
- Dubai Royal Palace (Point near Zabeel Palace)
- Jumeirah Beach & Burj Al Arab View
- Souk Madinat Jumeirah (Photo Spot + Free Time)
- Palm Jumeirah & Atlantis The Palm View (Monorail option)
- Carrefour Shopping at Mall of the Emirates
- Dubai Mall interior & Aquarium exterior, artificial waterfall, fountain show point guidance
We have neatly organized an itinerary that would take you all day to figure out on your own and only half-see, into a clean half-day route.
(2-4) Abu Dhabi, selecting only the 'class-apart' points
In the afternoon, we move from Dubai to Abu Dhabi to explore the core of Abu Dhabi in depth.
- Emirates Palace Hotel Le Café Gold Latte included (a signature menu worth about $25 that requires a reservation)
- Choose 1 between the Presidential Palace (Qasr Al Watan) or the Louvre Museum (automatically replaced with the Presidential Palace on Mondays when the Louvre Museum is closed)
- Grand Mosque Sunset & Night View
It is structured so that you can see both the sunset and the night view.
(2-5) Departure from Dubai → Choice of arrival at Dubai or Abu Dhabi hotel or Dubai Airport
Basically, the tour proceeds with a Dubai departure → Dubai return, but depending on the schedule, a drop-off at an Abu Dhabi hotel or Dubai airport is also possible.
It is a structure that allows you to save on transportation costs and time from Dubai to Abu Dhabi, and handle both travel and city tours in one full-day tour.

(3-1) Dubai Airport or Hotel Pickup
Please wait at the Dubai airport or your Dubai hotel lobby, and our guide will pick you up at the scheduled time.
(The Korean-speaking guide will send the estimated pickup time to the representative's KakaoTalk the day before the tour.)
(3-2) Abra Experience / Dubai Frame Photo Op / Dubai Royal Palace
The first place we arrive at is the old town called Bastakiya, where old Dubai buildings are preserved, much like a folk village in Korea.
Unlike Dubai's flashy modern buildings, we will try a travel experience that allows you to see and feel what is truly 'Dubai-like'.
- Abra Experience: We will board a traditional water taxi called an Abra here.
'Abra' means 'to cross' in Arabic. We will ride the Abra to cross the Creek, which is called the lifeline of Dubai.
- Al Seef Street or Bastakiya Tour (Choose one)
It is time to explore either Al Seef or Bastakiya, both of which are bursting with the vibes of the old town.
While seeing both is great, we have many other things on the schedule, so we will discuss with the guide and choose one to explore.
Al Seef is home to that famous Starbucks.
During your travels, most Asians you see might be Chinese, but at this Starbucks, most of the Asians are Koreans.
- Dubai Frame Photo Op
We will take a look at the Dubai Frame, also known as the Dubai picture frame, as we pass by.
- Sheikh Mohammed Dubai Royal Palace (Zabeel Palace): The palace of the King of Dubai.
In reality, it is not well-marked on Google, and it is a place you cannot enter.
However, let's take a moment to look at the royal palace that built up this Middle Eastern city of Dubai.
It is the palace where the current King, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, resides!!
💁♂️ A quick bit of knowledge about Arabic names!!
Arabic names are quite long, aren't they? ^^
The name of the current King, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, carries the following meaning.
* Sheikh: An honorific for Arab men, roughly equivalent to 'Sir' or 'Lord'.
* Mohammed: The name. Bin Rashid: 'Bin' means 'son of', so it means son of Rashid.
* Al Maktoum: 'Al' means 'family' or 'clan', so it means the Maktoum family.
To break it down, it means Sir Mohammed, son of Rashid, of the Maktoum family.
(3-3) Souk Madinat Jumeirah / Palm Jumeirah (+$20 per person for one-way monorail ride)
We will view the Jumeirah Burj Al Arab and Jumeirah Al Qasr Hotel, and tour the inside of Souk Madinat Jumeirah.
We will also visit Palm Jumeirah, an artificial island with a total length of 4.4km.
Here, you can travel by the famous Dubai monorail. (If you wish to ride the monorail, please purchase your ticket individually.)
If you sit at the very front of the monorail, you can see the famous Atlantis The Palm Hotel.
(3-4) Visit Mall of the Emirates
We will visit the world's largest indoor ski resort, and the guide will also introduce essential shopping items to buy in Dubai.
You can also shop for souvenirs at the Carrefour here.
(3-5) Visit Dubai Mall (Includes individual lunch and free time)
We will visit the Dubai Mall, the largest shopping mall in the Middle East, to get tips on watching the fountain show and learn about the best viewing spots,
and have time to explore the LED show viewing points, the aquarium, and the artificial waterfall.
During this time, you will have individual lunch and free time.
4. Abu Dhabi City Tour Preview
(4-1) Emirates Palace Hotel Gold Latte Coffee
After having free time at Dubai Mall, we will meet at the appointed time and head to Abu Dhabi.
If you have come to the UAE, you must experience the famous Gold Latte at Le Cafe in this hotel.
Because this kind of relaxation makes our trip a little more luxurious and a little more fun.
It is available only to a limited number of reservations, and it boasts an incredible price of about $25.
The signature menu, Gold Latte, is included here.
We will spend about an hour drinking coffee in this place where you can properly experience the Middle Eastern atmosphere.
(4-2) Abu Dhabi Royal Palace or Louvre Museum
Completed over 10 years with an investment of about $1 billion through an agreement between France and the UAE in 2007,
the first overseas branch of the French Louvre Museum is located here.
The Louvre Abu Dhabi, which opened on November 11, 2017,
Located on Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates,
it is a cultural and artistic district home to the New York University campus, the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi, and the Zayed National Museum.
Utilizing the site surrounded by the sea, the building appears as if it is floating on the water,
and with over 8,000 metal stars on the roof creating geometric patterns, it is a place that catches the eye with its exterior as much as its exhibits.
As a museum of world history, it displays a variety of artifacts from prehistoric times to the modern era,
and through a special exhibition benefit for the next 10 years, some collections from the Louvre Museum and the Musée d'Orsay in France will be on display.
(4-3) Grand Mosque Night View Tour
The highlight of the final Abu Dhabi trip: the Grand Mosque, Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque!
This is the very place frequently seen in photos of Abu Dhabi trips.
Since most tourists visit in the morning or afternoon, it is often crowded,
and because they miss the sunset at the Grand Mosque, Travel Forest visits in the late afternoon to enjoy both the sunset and the night view.
Shorts are not permitted, shoes must be removed, and women must cover their hair to enter.
You will enter with our friendly guide and hear explanations about why the mosque has this structure, what the crescent moon signifies,
and what you should do here, among other things.
After that, we provide ample time for you to freely capture the beautiful scenes of the Grand Mosque.
Please spend at least an hour exploring this place at your leisure.
The tour concludes here with the Abu Dhabi Grand Mosque.
Drop-off will be provided according to your chosen location, such as a hotel in Abu Dhabi, a hotel in Dubai, or the airport.
